The conference will be held in English and Romanian.

Speakers:

Dr. Andreas Önnerfors – Sweden

Title of his presentation: Freemasonry and Civil Society: *Journal für Freymaurer* (1784–1786) as an instrument of communication and education in the Austro-Hungarian Dual Monarchy.

Dr. Andreas Önnerfors is Professor of History at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and former professor at the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Christoph Meister – Germany

Title of his presentation: 1937 in Switzerland: The Federal Popular Initiative to Ban Freemasonry, the Conspiracist Narrative of Jewish and Masonic World Domination, and the so-called *Protocols of the Elders of Zion*.

Dr. Christoph Meister holds a PhD in Philosophy, is a retired high school teacher, and former director in Zurich.

Mircea Bucin – Switzerland

Subject of his presentation: A historical journey beginning in the 17th century, through which we explore how socio-cultural phenomena specific to different eras generated and influenced Freemasonry at the European level, analyzing the most prominent organizations, rites, and Masonic structures contemporary to these movements.

Mircea Bucin is an author.

Alexandru Rufanda – UK

Title of his presentation: Romanian–American Masonic Relations. Ossian Lang’s Mission to Romania and the Harm Done to Romanian Freemasonry.

Alexandru Rufanda is an author and Historian of Freemasonry.
